The Project

Before the refurbishment, the building's systems were outdated and in need of modernisation. The heating and cooling systems were inefficient, and the medical gas supply and extract systems needed updating.

During the project, we upgraded the building management system (BMS) to improve control and monitoring of the building’s systems. The plumbing was also upgraded, including the installation of new fixtures and fittings, while the heating and cooling systems were replaced with more energy-efficient options.

Additionally, we upgraded the medical gas supply and extract systems to ensure they were fully compliant with current regulations and could deliver the required flow rates and pressures for medical equipment.

Overall, the refurbishment has improved the functionality and safety of the South Ward 8th Floor, providing a more comfortable and modern environment for patients and staff alike.
